Our Story

Rapp Wine is a wine importer, owned and operated by husband and wife, Kevin & Nicole Rapp. From our start, we have had one goal:

"To supply authentic wine & spirits of superior quality and value"

The ability to provide the best is achieved through research, honesty, relationships, and a bit of luck. Our process begins and ends with relationships. The efforts of our immediate family, producers, shippers, distributors, retailers, and restaurants make attaining our goal possible.

We have found our partners through travel, trade shows, social media, and referrals. We are guided by our desire to build long lasting relationships with partners who share our vision and outlook on how to achieve it.

We often choose lesser known regions and native grape varietals from family-owned estates & vineyards throughout the world. Low production volume and unfamiliar brand names make it a challenge for our producers to find import and distribution partners in the United States. The producers and families that we represent are a part of our family. Together, we can help provide better access and understanding of excellent quality wines for everyone.

History

Nicole and Kevin were married in September of 2016. Their honeymoon was part vacation, part business trip. But when your business is wine and your partners are wine producers, work is not the most fitting word. In a small European rental car, they drove all over Italy and visited many areas and small towns less frequented or not even visited by tourists. During that trip, they met our first three partners in Abruzzo, Puglia, and Sicily.
